April 2026 - Why am I not consistent?

This is such a thing - especially if you have a neurodiversity. I always used to feel that when I was at work I had such great ideas for what I was going to do when I got home and when I was at home I found it much easier to feel enthusiastic about work projects 🤣 Never quite the right motivation when I was actually able to do much!

The best advice I can give is to firstly split up your planning from your doing - decluttering can start with planning and thinking about what you actually want from the space and what will work for your lifestyle. the actually shifting the stuff is a separate exercise.

Thinking of it like this allows you to take the pressure off the actual doing part which is often where you can come unstuck.

What do you want - regardless of whether you have the motivation to do it- what would your space look and feel like IF you were to change it?
